We are looking for an Infrastructure Architect to join our public service client based in Worcester. The role’s primary purpose is to be responsible for the efficient and effective design of any new or changed ICT Service incorporating applications, technical infrastructure, and services to ensure they meet the public organisation’s and its clients’ needs. This is perfect for a candidate looking to take up a role in an important sector of our community that plays a vital role in making a difference in the security of the UK. Criteria:
- Infrastructure Architecture experience gained in a large, complex, and multi-faceted organisation.
- Previous experience in infrastructure architecture and service design
- Significant expertise in Citrix, Cisco, SQL & Oracle, MS Exchange/Outlook, telephony services, Microsoft Azure, VMWare and NSX
- Substantial knowledge of ICT enterprise architecture principles
- Whole cycle experience of translating user requirements into ICT service designs.
- Knowledge of Application Portfolio Management (APM) for managing software-based services.
- Experience in supporting Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and bespoke solutions.
- Knowledge of ISO standards such as ISO 25000 (Service Mgt), ISO 31000 (Risk Mgt), and ISO 22301 / BS 25999 (Business Continuity).
