Educated to degree level (Level 6) or equivalent in a related ICT discipline, or have substantial relevant experience in a complex, multi supplier ICT environment.
Current ITIL certified, or equivalent framework experience.
Professional management qualification.
Knowledge and understanding of Industry Best Practice and relevant guidelines such as ITIL v4.
Proven track record of developing strong working relationships with a wide number of stakeholders, internal and external.
What’s the job:
You will be responsible for the control, transition, governance, operation and management of all ICT services that comprise one of the Police forces ICT estate, ensuring agreed levels of service for all customers.
Take a consultative approach building relationships with internal/external stakeholders to continuously and proactively seek to improve levels of customer service and support in compliance with industry best practice standards focussing on customer value and the ‘service vs cost’ balance at all times.
Leading the Operations Team ensuring the relentless focus on service delivery in terms of customer service, operational support, service management and customer experience maintaining agreed levels of service.
